I am a registered social worker with Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto and specialize in individual and family therapy.
For the past ten years, I have worked in the areas of addiction, family services, community services and mental health. I have experience in various evidence-based psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, and narrative therapy.
I believe most people directly or indirectly seek therapy to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. This can often be a difficult task, but the rewards can be immense. People can find themselves suffering from challenges such as addictions, stress, pressure, mental health, and trauma which can block them from realizing their true self and actualizing their potential. Psychotherapy can help to remove these blocks and relieve suffering.
